Winston-Salem, NC – Frank Myers Auto Maxx is encouraging local residents to dance with the cars and potentially become a star in the process. What's the motivation? To raise money for the American Red Cross.
"I'm excited about this event because it allows me to combine my three passions… Dancing With The Stars TV show, my business and helping the American Red Cross ," says Tracy Myers, owner of Frank Myers Auto Maxx.
During the month of May, anyone who test drives a car will get the opportunity to dance around the vehicle they test drove. Videos will be uploaded to YouTube for the world to judge (check out the videos and vote for your favorite at http://www.dancewithclefrank.com/). The person whose dance garners the most views will win $1000.00 in cash from Frank Myers Auto Maxx at the BIG “Dancing with the Cars” event on Saturday June 6th from 11 to 3.
It doesn't end there. Tracy Myers, owner of Frank Myers Auto Maxx is also going donate $5 dollars for every dance he records during the week of June 1st – 6th and a nickel for every view the dancing with the cars videos get.
"I know a nickel doesn't seem like a lot of money, but with the popularity of YouTube and the viral nature of social media I anticipate these videos will draw a lot of eyeballs and lead to us donating a significant sum to the Red Cross," said Tracy.
Participants who dance the week of June 1st – June 6th will also receive their choice of a $5 dollar gift card to Wal-Mart or Target, a helpful gift under the current economic circumstances.
Myers says that dance skills are not required. In fact, he remarked that he thinks people who can't dance have more of a chance to win than those who can.

"I'm encouraging everyone to come on in and go crazy. The wilder the better. Whether you can dance or not this event is going to be lots of fun and help a lot of people at the same time," says Tracy.
Tracy Myers is a local business owner, author of the best selling book The Dirty Little Secrets of a Used Car Dealer, a consumer advocate and an automotive industry expert.
Myers's goal is to help local individuals and families find, qualify for and own the vehicle of their dreams even if they've had credit problems in the past.
