Government Program Runs Out Of Gas While Local Car Dealer Says 'Full Steam Ahead' and Gives You MORE CHUNK For Your Junk!

Winston-Salem, NC-- The sound you heard at the end of the day on July 30, wasn't your old car's brakes; instead, that screeching halt was the sound of the government's program, 'Cash For Clunkers', which abruptly came to an end after its less than one-week old inception.

The 'Cash For Clunkers' program began on July 24 and was designed to get consumers spending again, in turn stimulating the economy. But, because of all the program's restrictions, used car dealerships, such as Frank Myers Auto Maxx of Winston-Salem were excluded from even participating and that makes Tracy Myers, owner, steaming mad.

"I think that each American has the right to decide where to purchase their vehicle and what kind of vehicle to purchase. If the true goal of the government is to get consumers spending once again, shouldn't consumers have a CHOICE in what they are able to purchase and who they are able to purchase from? After all, not everyone can afford a brand-new vehicle. And the immediate depreciation of a new vehicle completely negates any seeming 'incentive' offered.

"The 'Cash For Clunkers' program put restrictions on a host of things like length of vehicle ownership, insurance history and most importantly, what kind of vehicle was purchased. The program forced consumers to purchase a brand-new vehicle; used vehicles simply weren't an option.

"In response to the government's 'Cash For Clunkers' program, I began a program of my own called 'Cash For Junkers'. And there's no red tape and no restrictions. It's simple: I'll give you $1,500 MORE than what your vehicle is worth. If you have a vehicle that's worth $5,000 and you pick out a nicer, newer vehicle from me that qualifies for the full $1,500 payout program, I'll give you $6,500 for that vehicle. This allows EVERYONE the opportunity to get a newer vehicle while stimulating the economy!"

Frank Myers Auto Maxx began their 'Cash For Junkers' program on August 1 and while they would love nothing more than to be able to help everyone in America, Tracy Myers has set aside a certain number of funds and, "once those funds are exhausted, the program will expire."

The explosively popular ‘Cash For Clunkers’ program goes broke...but local car dealer vows to keep his program going DESPITE the current government fiasco

Winston Salem, NC - Tracy Myers, owner of a local business, Frank Myers Auto Maxx, first heard the news on Thursday night. "A dealer friend of mine emailed me and told me that ‘Cash For Clunkers’ program was broke! It doesn’t surprise me though. I was never a fan of this program. The government red tape and restrictions destined it for failure."

This coming from a man who, upset the Cash For Clunker program didn’t include used car dealers, took matters into his own hands and created his own version of the Cash For Clunkers program (called Cash For Junkers)…without all the red tape.

"Listen…my program doesn't have all those ridiculous restrictions! Did you know that the government told people that they MUST buy a new car? What if you can't afford a new car? What kind of help is that?" exclaims Myers.

As of press time tonight, Frank Myers Auto Maxx is still offering their Cash For Junkers payout program...and Myers vows to do so until the money runs out. When asked how long that will be, Myers replied, "There's no specific end date to the offer. I’ve set aside enough funds to help a lot of people. But when those funds run dry, the program will expire."
